
Dolores Hidalgo
Dolores Hidalgo is famous both for it’s beautiful talavera pottery and for being considered the birthplace of the Mexican Independence movement. This is where Padre Hidalgo sent forth his famous ‘Grito’, which inspired the people to follow him into rebellion against the Spaniards.
